". . . our stories are what make the difference, and if we can tell them honestly we can hope to help each other. In the end, we have nothing to offer each other but our stories." ~ Emma Lou Thayne

Funny Hubby, While I was Sleeping and Other Misc...

{one} who’s the funniest person you know?
Hubby!! In a kind of stale, awkward way!!
He can make me smile even when I'm down!
(See if he pulls this again when I torture him with helping me with the lights! LOL!!) Every post needs a picture... Right?  ;p (Actually, I may get strung up for posting this... LOL!)

{two} were you a michael jackson fan?
As a cheerleader, dancing to his pop music... ABSOLUTELY!!
As a person... NOT so much...

{three} what was your favorite book as a child?
LOL!! I had some random choices as a child, too.
Tom Sawyer
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
Sherlock Holmes and the Hound of the Baskervilles
(Read that in one day while I was sick, 10.)
Where are the Children?
(Yeah... Got that one from the library and read it before my mother...
She freaked a little when she read it. I was like... 11!)

{four} what’s the most delicious meal you’ve ever eaten?
Wow! That's a toughy!!
I made some delectable stuffed mushrooms yesterday!
Hmmm... I had several I on our cruise...

{five} if you could eliminate one thing you do each day in the bathroom so you never had to do it again, what would it be?
Yeah... If I never HAD to relieve myself again...
That'd be AWESOME!!  ;p
Come on! Really! WHO ENJOYS THAT???  ;p

{six} if you could ask barak obama one question, what would it be?
How about
Where's your real birth certificate?

{seven} what’s the best place near you to get a drink?
Jamba Juice!!  ;p

{eight} what kind of music can you just not stand to listen to?
Rap and hard/acid rock

{nine} who and when was your first kiss?
Ummm... Tray Tharp followed me home in the 2nd grade. He closed his eyes, kissed my cheek and ran home. Can I get away with that one??? LOL!!

{ten} what 3 things do you think will become obsolete in the next ten years?

This week's assignments are:
1.) Dear Mommy and/or Daddy…(write a letter to yourself from one of your children)
2.) This one time I was sleeping and…
3.) Things you oddly obsessed about as a child.
4.) Who needs a vacation when you can spend your summer doing this…
5.) What did you wish for most? Write about a time when it was just too hot.

2.) This one time I was sleeping and...

(inspired by Jennifer W. from Momma Made It Look Easy).
There was a HUGE crash! I was a kid and visiting with my dad.
Funny thing happened while I was sleeping. A drunk drove into the corner of our house and took a big chunk out of my room... OK, it didn't come THROUGH the wall, just took and nice niche out of the cinder-block exterior. LOL!!

Love the answers. Are these all blogfest type things? I sort of got confused.

You have a blessed day :D

#5 - I didn't even think of that, but yeah...nobody (well no woman) really enjoys that.

yep - #5 is so true... I'll stick with the entire make-up and hair routine (tedious though it may be) rather than that one :) (if only it were possible)

Laughing about Where are the Children - I might have been 12 when I read it at my Grandma's house - my mom wasn't really thrilled either.

I have to pee entirely too often, so I am with you!

The photo of your hubby is hilarious. My hubby would kill me.

I must admit I dislike with a passion peeing, and my family can tell you I am a fequent laugher and this can at times get me into some trouble. I have had to learn not to hold it for 2-3 hours anymore.
I love your blog.

Jules: I'm sorry for the confusion. This is actually 2 Hops put into one long post. It's separated by **** and the buttons kick off the questions for each. On the lower one, you only have to answer one, but I left the questions in case it sparked anything someone else wanted to join in on. ;D I'll try to clarify better. Although the formatting is way off how I submitted it. Hmmm... how does that happen??
Ashley, T Kristina, Kristin: Peeing (+ company...) is SO OVERRATED!! If ONLY it were possible! HAH!!
T: I wanted to read MORE from MHC because it was so engrossing!! *sigh* She interfered with THAT plan... LOL!! ;p Great minds... I tell ya'!
Psyn: He hasn't seen it yet... LOL!! Shhhhh..... ;D He's always pulling funnies!
Kristin: Thanks, I get reminded every time I go in to the dreaded appointment (all you ladies KNOW what that is...) they remind me that when I want to be done with that little problem, they can do a surgery... Anybody have the done?? Enlighten me on how successful it is! ;D
Krista: I wish you had more time, too! LOL!! Just kidding, I will read everything you put out and cherish it!! You ARE AWESOME!! ;D In all honesty, I've been spending WAY TOO MUCH time around here and getting further behind on my editing. Gee! Maybe if my processor was working properly (faster) I wouldn't get so distracted while waiting for it to save each step... *sigh*
((HUGS))) everybody!!

Nope, the second grade kiss doesn't count. Try again. And how about SHOWERING AND DOING HAIR! Seriously, that takes WAAAY more time than a little relieving. :)

I have to agree with you on the President's birth certificate. There's a little too much ambivalence over the certification the state of HI has provided. If someone had to verify it was on file, just make a copy of it already. Geez.
