Meet Me On Monday and Awareness Awards

Questions:

1. What is your favorite dessert?

FAVORITE??? But there are MANY!!! LOL!!
Honestly, the MOST delectable dessert I've ever experienced is the cake given by Princess Cruise Line to celebrate a special occasion. It's kind of a combination between cake and mousse! And of COURSE it's CHOCOLATE!!! (The OTHER Vitamin C!!!) There is a smaller version of the one shown for birthdays. When it's an anniversary, it's the same recipe, but twice the size and oval! That's what you see here. Oh YUMMERS!!
2. What do you wear to bed?

'Jams
(PJs, pajamas, whatever YOU call them...) ;D
NO! You don't get a picture! LOL!!
(You'll thank me!!)  ;p

3. Do you get regular manicures/pedicures?

No! I HATE (I KNOW that's a strong word and it IS appropriate here!!) having my nails filed and/or buffed! It's like nails on a chalkboard, touching chalk, squeaky balloons, or sandpaper on ANYTHING! AAAHHHHH!!!  ;p

4. Did you play any sports in high school?

I was a cheerleader in Jr High
A Majorette in High School
I played Co-Ed Softball for a company I worked for, for 5 years. I played 2nd base. One time a ball was coming down and I was set to catch it and the sun was in my eyes and blinded me. I put my glove where I thought it would come and caught the ball in my eye... That was NOT PRETTY for over a month! Lucky for the man I was married to that there were witnesses from work that saw it happen. There were a few that took one look at me the next day and jumped to the wrong conclusion... They were ready to go kill him! LOL!!  Hmmmm...  ;p

5. Do you have an iPod?

Yes! The original classic white 30 GB one. I have it FULL, so whenever I want to put something on it, I have to take something off... Which is REALLY a pain because the computer I had most of the items in itunes on DIED and I've not yet been able to retrieve them. Someday maybe I'll just get a new one that has a gazillion MB so I'll have my freedom to put as much on it as I want!!

I put music, images, and audio books on it. I don't have room for movies even though it would play them, too... It's a NECESSARY item to get to sleep! My mind starts racing as soon as I lie down... doesn't matter how exhausted I am usually... I put an audio book of a book I've ALREADY READ!! That's important information... It has to be something I read so I don't want to hear what's going to happen. If I already know... then I can drift off. It can't even be music because music triggers memories and I get too into it. *sigh*  It's also great for traveling.  ;D  When hubby is driving late, he sometimes wants it quiet. If he's resting and I'm driving, I only put the headphone in one ear so he can rest and I can drive to the music that keeps me hopping and also hear the sounds of the road I need to!!  ;D

This is a special award. The idea of spreading awareness is just so noble to me; I am honored. As you noticed I received 2 in one day but I plan on doing my best to honor you both.

THANK you so much. :D

I don't use an MP3 player at all! How lame am I? I never get manicures, but I love me some pedicures.

I love my iPod, but don't know why I don't use it nearly as often as I should. And it's only 8GB and not nearly full yet. Weird, huh?

And I'm a big fan of pedicures. I make my friends get them with me. My roommate hates being touched and she's getting used to it now.
