Writer's Workshop: Incredible BLUE EYES (More Pix)

Before
After
SO if YOU want to join in, click on the pic or quote above and link your post!!
I am saying my eyes! I love having blue eyes...
(Since everything else I have ISSUES with...)  ;p
YEP! THAT's the WINNER!! LOL!!  ((HUGS))
Mama's Losin' It

1.) Lou Holtz (don't ask me who that is) once said, "life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it."

Do you believe this? Describe a time when you feel like you could have responded a different way and produced a different outcome.

  • I have responded both good and bad at times and I find my mood has a LOT to do with it.
2.) I miss the friend you used to be. (The Myth Of You And Me)
  • I thought I had friends... lots of them. Then I was damaged goods and they were gone... That sums up my high school days...
3.) The most unbelievable blue eyes you've ever seen...

This one doesn't do them justice... LOL!
Now is it pulling in the actors that gets the ratings up??
LOL! Here ya' go!  ;p
DISCLAIMER: I did not take any of the following images
or have copyright of them.  ;p  As if...   *sigh*

4.) The craziest reason I ever got in trouble as a child.

  • I remember too much from early childhood... let me TELL you!!  ;p  I don't remember WHAT I was in trouble FOR, just that I'd been sent to my room. We lived in base housing in FL at the time and it WAS a beautiful day. I was 4 at the time. I was REALLY upset about not being able to go out to play, I would SHOW HER! My thought pattern was that I would run away! I snuck out of the house and went on my huffy way down the sidewalk further than I was ever ALLOWED to go... As I was walking, there was someone having a birthday party outside. I stopped to watch a bit. The kids playing saw me and asked if I wanted to come play. OF COURSE I DID! And I DID!! I got cake, ice cream, a balloon... I had forgotten all about the running away part and happily went home... BOY!! WAS I IN TROUBLE!!  *sigh*
5.) What would you ask forgiveness for?

inspired by this Post Secret:
  • I'm sorry I didn't stand up and fight harder, little sister. I started to tell and make a fuss... it was swept under the rug... He started to leave me alone. I never thought he would do these things to his own child... and one so small... I'd have never stopped telling till he was in jail if I'd had a clue. By the time I found out we were grown, he was gone... it was too late. The damage was done.

Tell The Truth Thursday
What do you miss most about being young??
The days when it was just US!
Mom and the 3 of us...
Don't get me wrong, I love my 3 younger siblings...
But the stepfathers only took away happiness.
If only I could have the siblings without what preceded them... ;p

Innocence

Cheering... the CHEER part WAS FUN...
Some of the girls I had to cheer WITH were a different story.
*sigh*

So I had to TWIRL in High School and loved it!
OH yeah... I miss my figure, too! Guess that's a given... ;p

So true! Us women are the worst at bring ourselves down. We don't need anyone else to do it, we do it enough.

I'm sorry about you and your sister (see, I even read the strikeout stuff)...but as a child, you had no way of stopping it, no power over any adult.

I hope you and she have found time to be helpful in healing your shame and hurt.

I love that you can recall the good along with the bad. Eventually, our lives become ours~we decide~it's not decided for us. I think you are fully on your way to happy, Holly.

At least you ran away to a fun place when you were little and you did return of your own accord! Your parents were probably freaking out!

And gent(s)?

My wife and I have very, very dark brown eyes. I love blue eyes, but they didn't have a chance.

Heather: I'm one of the worst. ;D
Kaelin: Thanks!! I think the actor shots were for my enjoyment... LOL!! JK!! Actually, there are a few in there that aren't ALL that... but I do love their eyes, so I threw them in. Hehe!! I may have to expand in a post sometime. LOL!!
Mommyologist & Ashley: Awww... THANKS!! ;D
Jun: You are ambitious!! HAH!! I understand... but I always have this guilt know NOW that when he backed off from me he started with her... She was ONLY 3!! Makes me sick that I didn't watch closer and/or turn into a devil child until he was OUTTA' THERE to protect her!! Just always in the back of my mind. She's had a REALLY hard life.
Cheeseboy: I've seen GORGEOUS brown eyes, too. In one of my photo posts I'm going to include a few JUST FOR YOU! ;D
Karen & Gerard: My mom was!! Thanks for stopping! ;D
Lisa: How I LOVE YOU!! Honestly, there are times I'm ecstatically happy... and then this dumb disorder has to slam me back in the other direction. I can always see many of my blessings and the Lord's hand in my life, though... And beautiful friends like you can' TWICE!! ((HUGS))
