". . . our stories are what make the difference, and if we can tell them honestly we can hope to help each other. In the end, we have nothing to offer each other but our stories." ~ Emma Lou Thayne

SITS Girls Back 2 Blogging: 5th Prompt - WHY I BLOG

All posts should mention and link to our sponsors, Standards of ExcellenceWestar Kitchen and Bath, and Florida Builder Appliances, somewhere in the text.

As your last assignment to jump start your return to blogging, write about what blogging means to you. Why do you blog? What purpose does it serve you and how have you benefited from sharing a piece of yourself online this way?

I don't know about RETURN... as I've been pretty consistent for a bit now... But I'm playing along with the prompts...

WHY? OH WHY do I BLOG???
Blogging is:

  • a way to feel like I'm doing SOMETHING worthwhile; whether it be recording events like a journal, lifting someone/anyone, educating others, learning from others, sharing experiences... (although there are many in my immediate circle that see no use in it... *sigh* Well, I do...)
  • an attempt to share with others and make a connection
  • a way to say things that are on my mind without ANNOYING people that could care less
  • a direction to funnel my focus away from bouncing from one thing to another aimlessly; attempting to mellow racing thoughts... (sometimes from negative directions)
  • a way to have a voice for things I frequently don't/won't/can't verbalize in person
I am in no way aspiring to be the world's most influential, popular, or intellectual blogger... I am just me; trying to be what I CAN be... a better me... and connect with someone, somewhere, in some dimension. I have found many to be uplifting, inspirational, relative and friends to me. Thank YOU!!  I LOVE YOU!!  (((HUGS)))
