". . . our stories are what make the difference, and if we can tell them honestly we can hope to help each other. In the end, we have nothing to offer each other but our stories." ~ Emma Lou Thayne

Home is Where the HEART Is

Where do you call home - city, state and/or country?
What makes it special to you or do you dislike it terribly?

I have had so many homes in my life!!
If you want to read all about that in my Lifetime of Moving post.
We have settled down. We are HERE to STAY!!
We built our home
We put in a yard
We planted FRUIT TREES and Flowers...
That after just a few years gave us a bountiful harvest
We put a hole in the ground for family recreation
We have a beautiful view of the mountains
MOST of our children/grandchildren are within 45 mins...
Hubby has retired and LOVES to travel.
He gets so excited to up and go...
Sometimes I have to compromise! LOL!!
We have had some AWESOME trips, though!
Hawaii X 2    SWEET!!

There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.
                                                     ~Jane Austen

Home is a shelter from storms -
all sorts of storms.  ~William J. Bennett

Home is the one place in all this world where hearts are sure of each other.  It is the place of confidence.  It is the place where we tear off that mask of guarded and suspicious coldness which the world forces us to wear in self-defense, and where we pour out the unreserved communications of full and confiding hearts.  It is the spot where expressions of tenderness gush out without any sensation of awkwardness and without any dread of ridicule.  ~Frederick W. Robertson

We NEVER want to move again!
Syracuse, UTAH is my HOME!  ;D

It's MY home, too! Lucky for both of us. :) Beautiful pictures. I always love walking past your yard and hearing people inside swimming and splashing. Sounds like joy. Hawaii twice? LUUUCKY!

Love the pictures. And do you have to cook for that family? :D

Home is our hearts and is where ever we dwell but like you I'm happy just where I'm at. :)

Your home is simply beautiful and so is your garden, your pool, and your view. I completely agree with you, home is where your heart is and it's the best place in the whole world to be especially when you are home and your are surrounded by your loved ones too.
