Project 52 #2 and Meet Me on Monday #30

I have decided to join up with Karen and Jennee on Project 52. I think this is AWESOME and invite anybody wanting to accomplish some goals, to join in! I knew last week I wanted to participate, but I didn't have my list organized... Well, I still don't have it all down pat. *sigh* However, I decided I will create a page for PROJECT 52 and as I confirm an item for my list, I will add it and report the following update. I will keep that list current on that page.

This week I will create the Project 52 page, as well as a "Year of AWESOME" page.

In working on my list, I actually had to step back and reevaluate. Some of the things on my list were things not specific enough or easily measured. I'm doing this because it will be good for me. I accomplish more when I can cross things off a list and be accountable. So thanks for following my journey, and join in if you'd like. Click the logo above to add to the Linky.

1.  Have you (only you..not a group) ever won first place in anything?
2.  Are your toes always painted (sorry guys...this question for girls only)?
3.  What color eyes do you have?
4.  Look to your left....what do you see?
5.  Soft cookies or crunchy cookies?
My Answers!

1.  Have you (only you...not a group) ever won first place in anything?
In 8th and 9th grades I won the Jr High spelling bee.

I was Miss Young North UTAH in 1985
*Horrible pic... only one I could find at the moment...
The state competition was not a typical pageant. You were recommended on merit from an appointed rep at the school and you sent in a photo, school transcript and essay. They chose one from 3 regions in the state to compete for nationals in LA. This part WAS a pageant... but they said it was more on merit and scholarship qualities than typical pageants.... They said height was not a factor... FUNNY... ALL the finalists were TALL... the winner was about 5'10" and only 13!!! Whatever...  LOL!! It was still fun. I wouldn't have won anyway. On the on stage question I had to stop, take a deep breath and then finish. YEAH... LOVELY!!! LOL!!
Photo taken by Butch Adams in SLC, UT. This was the same shoot as the images in the center of the sidebar.
This is the shot sent in with the application

2.  Are your toes always painted (sorry guys...this question for girls only)?
     3.  What color eyes do you have?
4.  Look to your left.....what do you see?
Hmmm... I'm actually in my recliner in the family room with my laptop at the moment... To my left is a burgundy leather sofa recliner kind of similar to this...
5.  Soft cookies or crunchy cookies?
     MMMM... SOFT and WARM!!
HUBBY's are the BEST!!
He'll make chocolate chip or sugar and frequently puts other yummies in them, too! He has the timing down PERFECT!!!

Suddenly the cadbury easter eggs I'm eating don't compare to the thought of warm chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven. YOU ARE SATAN! Love the pictures. My toes are usually chipped. And the pageant? How cool is that!
