". . . our stories are what make the difference, and if we can tell them honestly we can hope to help each other. In the end, we have nothing to offer each other but our stories." ~ Emma Lou Thayne

Don't be a HATER because YOU're JEALOUS of my HOLIDAY TREE!! ;p

This is the first time we've done this, so there isn't a whole lot of magic going on... BUT, if we continue in this endeavor, it can ONLY get BETTER!! Right??

Back story... and some of our friends and relatives can attest to this... EVERY year as we erect and disassemble  the 12 ft monstrosity, we have joked about turning our CHRISTMAS tree into a HOLIDAY tree... Once after I'd mad a comment about it to my sweet friend, Lisa, she replied that she thinks I've put a lot of THOUGHT into this.  LOL!! Well, every year the thought has evolved a little more. This year we thought we'd give it a go and see... BAHAHA!!! IF we decide to continue this... I'm sure our decorations for said HOLIDAY tree will improve. In the mean time, we don't want to go to MAJOR expense for each decor change as of yet.
OH!! For those of you (like my SON) that think we need to change the angel on top... NO! When the tip top of a 12 foot monstrosity is easier to access... or the angel is removed from atop the temples... He'll sit just fine atop my tree. ;p  Hehehe!!

So go ahead and laugh if you must... but it's OUR HOLIDAY tree and we'll LIKE it if we WANT to!! BAHAHAHAHA!!!

(Tree is currently adorned with red tinsel heart garlands, BIG holographic hearts, and various boxed valentines.)
HAPPY VALENTINE'S!!

I chose:
4.) Share a photo that captures special Valentine(s).
The tree is FULL of Valentines. HAHAHA!!  ;p
If you want to see MY SPECIAL VALENTINE, I am doing a post on HIM tomorrow for his birthday!  ;D

Ok see I love it! I once had a dream to have a decorated tree with a different theme in each room of my house but this is just as good! You go girl!

Love the tree idea! I've thought of doing something similar, only not with the Christmas tree...a table tree. Stopping by from Mama Kats...love your blog!

Your holiday sounds like a good idea if you don't want to take it down all year. Maybe you can decorate it for everyone's birthdays too.

I used to always joke about turning mine into a holiday tree, too. But then I got roommates that actually LIKE having a real tree, and I like that way better than having a holiday tree year round.
