SOME of My Favorite Quotes

How I need these kinds of friends! I have a lot to blow away!)

Giles  (People so often fall in love with the idea of who they want a person to be with the idea of molding them into that person in time. That is not love, that is manipulation.)

It's dear to my heart. My story is a roller coaster and not always pretty and sometimes not comprehensible... but it's real... and somewhere along the ride, someone will relate with something and maybe it will make a difference.)

We get back up, brush off, and try again!)

Son, you CAN KINDLY decline the invitation and tell them to go have fun you'll see them later. Being KIND does NOT mean HANGING OUT! If you are out with them and they re doing things they shouldn't and you are NOT, YOU are assumed guilty by association. If they shoplift or paint graffiti, YOU are arrested, too. BOOM! YOU have a record for HANGING OUT! JUST be KIND and keep your distance. 'Nuff said!)

"What e'er thou art, act well thy part"  ~Quentin L Cook  (Don't get it? It means that whatever task you're given, whatever role you play... DO IT WELL! Do your BEST! Do yourSELF proud knowing that whether the task was too difficult or you felt it beneath you, you gave it your all and no one can honestly consider you a slacker. If they think it, you and God KNOW better and who else matters?)

Mama’s Losin’ It

I'm sorry, I TRIPLED the requested 6 quotes, but I seriously could go ON and ON... going to the site and seeing  some of the samples, maybe she was looking for MOM quotes... BUT, these are LIFE quotes, and I definitely teach them to my kids, too. So here is just a smidgen of quotes I cherish.  Enjoy!
